Pallas Theatre

The company Etaireia Paragogis Theamaton “Theatrikes Skines SA” was founded in 2016 and very quickly became a favourite of both the public and theatre professionals by staging performances of high artistic standards.

Theatrikes Skines aims to work with everyone, without distinctions, labels or prejudices. Renowned artists, young talented children and classical and pioneering productions create a unique project.

The historical and emblematic PALLAS Theatre has been a member of Theatrikes Skines since September 2017 and hosts plays, musical shows and events.

It was built between 1931 and 1932, and was the most remarkable movie theatre in the Balkans. It was designed in a classic, modern style, along French lines. The monumental entrance is dominated by the colourful marbles and the impressive staircase, while the foyer features walnut tree wall panels, art deco stained glass and ornate mosaics. The theatre initially  had 2,500 seats and  a destinctive wavy ceiling. The theatre was completely renovated at the beginning of 2000. The process was carried out with great respect for the architecture and all the historical features were preserved, making the theatre a living monument. As far as the stage and the seating area are concerned, they have been redesigned to host even the most demanding music or dance performances and have been equipped with state of the art audiovisual media.
